Long Hole Corral
The little bit of remaining sunlight was quickly diminishing. Making the round Kevin and I put on our gear and rushed to make sure the net was secure at both arms.
Kevin proclaimed he saw a shark and some large yellow tail but it was getting dark and will have to wait till tomorrow morning to see what and how many we caught.
Climbing up on the rock I made sure the arm was secure. Calling out to Kevin I asked where’s the shark? He thought he saw it near him just a few seconds ago.
With almost no visibility I wanted to avoid the sea urchins and was going to jump into a clear spot in the water. As I was about to jump the shark surfaced right in front of me. I would have landed on its back!
Wanting to get in the boat i had to wait for the shark to move away. Giving my brother grief I told him what almost happened.
Finally the shark sunk down under the surface and was out of sight. Wasting not a moment I jumped in and swam straight for the boat.
We both confirmed we secured the arms as best as we could and knew it was always a gamble leaving fish in a corral over night especially with a shark in the net.
But we’re just gonna have to wait till morning to see what we caught and you’re gonna have to wait till Sunday to read about it.
